City Lights Lay Out Before Us

While at Paddy’s Campus Beach Bar Saturday night, I was exposed to an unfamiliar song (to me atleast), by a very well-known singer/songwriter.  “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman came on the jukebox and upon hearing track I immediately Shazamed it as a download reminder.  Everything about the song is illustrious.  The profoundly emotional lyrics are reinforced by the effortless acoustic quality of the song, while the chorus provides hope through the employment of multiple upbeat instruments.

Lastly, I would like to point out that today’s post is my 50^th since the creation of my blog, it has been tough to keep up with at times, but I look forward to posting 50+ more songs!
