I Would Put It On My Life

Brit Smith split from her twin sister Alex back in 2009, in hopes of pursuing a solo career and boy has she made a name for herself, literally.  The singer now goes by the alias Matisse and has been killing it in the clubs.

Her single “Better Than Her,” released in 2010, was written and produced by Kevin Rudolph and Jacob Kasher, two well-known names in the music business.  The bumping track also features Akon alongside an overwhelming dance melody, which is why it’s no surprise that "Better Than Her" reached number one on Billboards Hot Dance Airplay Chart.

Just from hearing her single, I feel like she has what it takes to make it on the top forty.  I mean, number one on the dance charts is certainly a start, right?

I guess we’ll have to wait until after the release of her full-length LP (sometime this year) to find out.
