Plushgun is probably one of my favorite New Wave bands. Founder Dan Ingala, along with Taylor Armstrong (guitar) and Matt Bogdanow (drums), rose to fame through web series and later, features on cable television programs. Plushgun’s “Mixtapes” combines shimmering keyboards and guitars with a melody you can certainly sing to. It’s softer than their other tracks and much more lyrically deeper.
