Limp Bizkit is back and with their original lineup from the 2000 record setting album, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water. Their newest album, Gold Cobra, dropped yesterday, but hasn’t been well received. Although some of the songs off the album are a little much, “Shotgun” is entertaining, catchy, and definitely exhibits the Limp Bizkit “sound.” “Shotgun” was released as the lead single off the album, however no radio stations will pick it up, weird, right? For a group that was so huge at one time, it’s hard to come out of nowhere and expect people to pick up where you left off. Even though a lot of the songs off the album can’t even compete with tracks like “Rollin’” and “My Way,” they’re still definitely worth a listen.
