After my last post I began pondering my next song choice. I did what I do best and excitedly began yet another musical expedition. Using the seemingly magical “genius recommendations” tool on iTunes, I stumbled upon The Faint, an indie rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. The band is anything but ordinary, closely resembling the sound of The Klaxons.
One of their tracks titled “The Geeks Were Right,” off their most recent album Fasciinatiion, stacks vocodered vocals on top of sharp guitars and a fat synth bassline. It’s definitely a song worthy of a basement disco party (my place next week). Listen, it won’t disappoint!
