It’s pretty obvious that dubstep is on its way out the door, but before it departs forever I’d like to share a remix of Stephen Jerzak’s “She Said,” featuring Leighton Meester. Jerzak made it big off of MySpace, getting signed to Universal/Republic Records, and is now part of the Vans Warped Tour. Meester, on the other hand, made the music switch back in 2009 with her feature in Cobra Starship’s “Good Girls Go Bad.” Leighton Meester, unlike most actresses who try and become singers, is much different. She can actually sing (if you still have doubt watch Country Strong).
The Killabits’ dubstep remix of “She Said” is really, really good. It’s not too heavy and it compliments the original song pretty well.
