I first heard Rob Roy’s “Fur In My Cap” about a month ago, while driving to Chik fil a in my friend's Grand Marquis (appropriate, I know). After hearing it, I made a mental note to look up the lyrics and download the song, but I completely forgot.
However, just the other day one of my friends posted a link on my wall containing some valuable information. He told me that Rob Roy not only is from Jacksonville, but also used to be one of his substitute teachers. Roy’s “Fur In My Cap” has been mentioned by Kanye and was even featured in an episode (“Berried Alive”) of Entourage. The track is pretty clever and the music video is quite funny.
